Watch the video and then answer the questions below the video.  This will help you with the rest of the lesson. You have to scroll all the way down to see the questions.

  1. The questions on exponential functions might require you to type exponents in your answer. When you need to type an expression with an exponent, use the "carat" symbol in your answer. It looks like this: ^. For example, if you want to write 24, just type 2^4. Or if you want to write (103)5, type (10^3)^5.
  2. If you want to type a multiplication sign in an answer or explanation, you can use the "asterisk" symbol (*) or parentheses.  For example, 2LaTeX: \cdot27 can be typed as 2*2^7 or 2(2^7).
  3.  If you need to write an expression in fraction form, like LaTeX: \frac{2}{3}, you can write it like this: 2/3.
